Uncommon Grounds, known for its freshly made bagels and house-roasted coffee, officially opened its newest location at 600 North Greenbush Road in North Greenbush on Wednesday, March 5, and locals are already buzzing.
“We can’t wait to welcome you to our cozy new spot and serve up the good stuff: freshly roasted coffee, mouthwatering bagels, delightful muffins, and those legendary bagel sandwiches you’ve been hearing about,” owner Mike Hoover said on Facebook.
What’s on the Menu?
Bagels are made fresh daily, with classics like Plain, Sesame, and Everything, alongside bolder options like Jalapeño Cheddar and Cheddar-Parmesan. The cream cheese lineup? Just as impressive—think Bacon Scallion, Honey Walnut, and Olive Pimento, all mixed in-house.
For those who crave a heartier start to the day, the bagel sandwich menu does not disappoint. Standouts include:
- The Flying Pig – Turkey, lettuce, tomato, onion, bacon, Monterey Jack, and mayo
- Lox of Love – Smoked salmon, cream cheese, onion, and capers
- The Lumberjack – Two eggs, sausage, bacon, American cheese, and maple syrup
Pair that with a steaming cup of coffee or a chai tea latte (which one Google reviewer called “the best chai I’ve ever had”), and you’ve got the makings of a perfect morning.
A Growing Legacy
Uncommon Grounds first opened in Saratoga Springs in 1992, and its following has only grown. The North Greenbush location joins shops in Saratoga Springs, Clifton Park, Queensbury, and three Albany locations.
